The ground rules for using the app, workspace billing, and support channels.

EvidenceAtlas provides a software service for thesis and research evidence workflows. The service is not a citation manager, manuscript editor, legal archive, or guaranteed long-term storage service, and it should not be treated as the sole backup of your research materials.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account credentials, using accurate contact information, and limiting access to authorized people only. Workspace billing actions are restricted to owner or admin roles.

You must not attempt to bypass billing limits, entitlement checks, access controls, webhook trust assumptions, or other product safety controls.

You may not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, abuse infrastructure, interfere with other users, probe for secrets, or run automated misuse against authentication, billing, export, or database paths.

Paid features are attached to the workspace. Checkout and customer portal flows are handled through Stripe, while trusted billing state inside the app is synchronized from Stripe webhook events into the server-managed workspace billing mirror.

Redirects from Stripe do not activate premium access by themselves. Premium access, grace periods, and free-limit fallback behavior are controlled by the current trusted billing state.

The service may change over time, including pricing, features, limits, and integrations. Access may be suspended or terminated for security, abuse, legal, or operational reasons.

The app is provided on an as-available basis. No uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific fitness for a particular academic or commercial purpose is guaranteed.
